Pre-launch planning - official sources

Grave Seasons Pre-Launch Investigation Checklist

If you are searching for a Grave Seasons walkthrough before release, the useful answer is a preparation checklist rather than a fabricated route. Official Steam and Blumhouse material confirms the investigation frame, but not the final killer solution, quest order, or crop values.

What the investigation is confirmed to involve

Steam describes Grave Seasons as a farming simulation where a supernatural serial killer is active in Ashenridge. The player has one year to protect potential victims and uncover the murders. The store page also lists more than 30 residents, more than 70 interiors, and seven major locations.

Build a resident and location checklist

Before launch, record every official resident name, relationship clue, and location caption separately. The town is large enough that a useful live guide will need to connect residents, interiors, the farm, forest, coast, and the Local and Commercial districts. Do not turn a screenshot appearance into a confirmed quest or schedule.

  • Track the resident name and the source where it is officially shown.
  • Keep location names separate from unconfirmed room or quest labels.
  • After launch, add the in-game day, time, trigger, and outcome for every tested clue.

Expect replay differences, not one universal killer route

The Steam description says each playthrough selects a supernatural killer from a candidate pool, with killer-specific reasoning, kill styles, and targets. That means a single “best walkthrough” written before release would be misleading. The launch guide should branch by the killer scenario actually observed in the save, then label any missable result with a tested day and version.

Romance is part of the risk calculation

Steam lists 12 potential romanceable folks and warns that a few may also be the killer. Treat romance pages as relationship tracking, not proof of a safe route. The practical launch checklist is to record the choice, resident, date, relationship result, and whether the playthrough changes the candidate pool.

Use the day-and-night cycle as a planning constraint

The official developer material describes a 24-hour cycle and a world that can change. Until the game is playable, the safe advice is to plan short evidence-based loops: farm or forage, review clues, speak with residents, and leave time for investigation. No exact stamina, shop-hour, crop-growth, or murder-timer number has been published here.

What is and is not available before launch

Perfect Garbage announced that the planned June 15 demo was cancelled when the full game was moved to Fall 2026. Steam currently shows the year only. There is no legitimate pre-release download to recommend, so wishlisting the official store page is the reliable way to receive a launch notification.

The final release is officially planned for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, with Day 1 Xbox Game Pass support announced. A specific day has not been published; this page will be updated when an official store or developer announcement narrows the window.

Launch-day evidence sheet

  1. Write down the build version and the in-game date before testing.
  2. Map the clue, resident, location, and time without assuming an outcome.
  3. Separate confirmed triggers from observations that happened only once.
  4. Repeat important choices in a second run before calling them universal.
